Hey guys, Jana here,

Comic-Con is THE entertainment spot of the universe and if you’re one of the lucky ones in attendance, you are guaranteed to see the latest and greatest the movie world has to offer. For years, we’ve waited for this event to see the newest trailers for the most anticipated films during their respective panel  presentations. This year was no different, and fans were treated to, among others, ‘Batman V Superman: Dawn of Justice‘, ‘Suicide Squad‘, ‘X-Men: Apocalypse‘ and the hottest trailer from the con, ‘Deadpool‘. I have been scanning the net ever since those panels ended looking for the studios mainstream release of the trailers to bring to you, and they’re curiously absent.

Hey guys, Jana here,

If you watched the season 5 finale of  AMC’sWalking Dead‘ you caught the first teaser for ‘Into the Badlands‘, a new genre-bending martial arts series that will make it’s home at the innovative cabler in the fall which left it’s tagline of “There is no god in the Badlands”. It’s a good hook to be sure, and that was enough to pique interest until yesterday morning at the entertainment mecca that is San Diego Comic-Con where a clip was presented with cast members participating in a panel discussion.

SDCC may have come to an end, but that doesn’t mean there aren’t a few secrets still left in the movie world. Fans got the treat of seeing the first ‘The Hunger Games: Mockingjay, Part 1‘ trailer that wasn’t made up of random Capitol propaganda. My heartstrings were pulled some as I saw the late Philip Seymour Hoffman as Plutarch Heavensbee talking to President Coin (Julianne Moore).

Hi, Bryan Here….

Marvel had a busy day today at Comic-Con.  Kevin Feige (President of Marvel Film Studios) confirmed today that ‘Guardians of the Galaxy’ will be released August 1, 2014.  Also, Edgar Wright (Shaun of the Dead) and Joe Cornish (Attack the Block) have finished writing ‘Ant-Man’ and have filmed some test footage which they showed the crowd at Comic-Con.  Needless to say the crowd went ape-shit. Wright said, Ant-Man is a tiny guy who kicks ass one inch at a time.

Hi, Bryan Here….

Legendary Pictures unveiled on their Facebook page, the new ‘Godzilla’ poster for their reboot of the classic giant monster lizard epic.  We have talked about this project a few times on the site as we are completely excited about it.  We just love that Gareth Edwards is directing this film.  Edwards directed the indie monster film ‘Monsters’, which was one of my favorite films of that year.  READ MY REVIEW HERE.  I know it’s a huge tease, but enjoy the poster and get psyched.
