We all know that Paul Feig (‘Freaks and Geeks‘, ‘Bridesmaids‘) is making ‘Ghostbusters III‘ with an all female cast including Kristen Wiig, Melissa McCarthy, Kate McKinnon, and Leslie Jones. But now it seems that Sony has much bigger plans for ‘Ghostbusters‘.

Hi everyone, Bryan Here….

We’ve been anticipating a live-action film of ‘Ghost in the Shell‘ (one of the finer anime movies ever made), for quite some time. Over the past year or so, we’ve been reporting that this project is indeed gaining steam. Today, it was announced that Scarlett Johansson (‘The Avengers‘) will star in the film.

Ghostgirl-books-to-read-12731260-1024-768

Have you read the young adult books titled ‘Ghostgirl‘? If not, you should. If you have read them, then get excited, because they are going to be adapted into a movie. And none other than Matthew Vaughn will be producing them with an option to direct and write. Vaughn directed excellent films such as ‘Layer Cake‘, ‘Kick-Ass‘, ‘X-Men: First Class‘, and ‘Stardust’.

Hey guys, Jana here,

ghostbustersmarshmallow

Find a kid, ask them “Who ya gonna call?” Depending on the answer, you can judge if their parents rock the gig of raising their man-child. If they answer with the obligatory “Ghostbusters!”, then you know these are kids that will go far in life. Every kid needs a solid bedrock of film savviness to draw references from for the rest of their lives. What kind of parent just lets the kids watch the movies without immersing them in all of the gloriousness that encompasses the franchise? In addition to the multitude of zingers and one-liners is the theme song that will stay in the cannon of 80’s pop culture forever.

Hey guys, Jana here,

Paul-Feig

With the death of Harold Ramis came the end of what I hoped for when I thought of a Ghostbusters 3. Not only did we lose Ramis but we lost Ivan Reitman as director also. A sequel effort had been talked about, hoped for and in various stages of development since the second film released. I never miss a chance to give a “Don’t cross the streams!” quote, especially when my boys are peeing off the porch. As a fan, I had to bury my hopes for gathering the original crew of Ramis, Dan Aykroyd and Bill Murray along with the comedic genius when he passed.

Hi everyone, Bryan Here….

horror_movies_33812

The Multi-Media Men are back with the 42nd episode that covers all things in the entertainment industry. We had a great adventure this time around and had tons to discuss. Joining me is Adam Conway from the Angelika Film Center, Gadi Elkon from Selig Film News, Gwen Reyes from Fresh Fiction TV and Susan Kamyab from This Chix Flix. It was a lot of fun to say the least. We discuss who we dislike in the music industry, ‘Ghostbusters’ 30th anniversary, TIFF 2014, and our new HORROR MOVIE BRACKET. For our Horror Movie Bracket, we had professor Paul Nimon pair and seed it this time, to which blood was drawn between our podcasters on who should move to the next round. It got crazy. Let us know if you agree or missed anything. And please let us know what you think by going to our FACEBOOK page and TWITTER page, which you should visit to catch up on all the latest information. And don’t forget to visit iTunes and Stitcher to subscribe to our podcast. Enjoy the show.

Hi everyone, Bryan Here….

Dan-Akroyd-Says-No-Bill-Murray-Ghostbusters-3

I think we can all agree that ‘Ghostbusters‘ is one of the best films ever made. And I hate to say it, but it’s a 30-year old movie, which makes me very old. So, for the 30th anniversary, the movie studio is re-releasing the film in theaters for a limited time, starting August 29th. Now if you haven’t seen ‘Ghostbusters‘ in the theater, it is mandatory that you do so. And even if you have, it’s probably been a long while, so best make sure you get to your local theater and see it again.

Who Ya Gonna Call? ‘Ghostbusters 3!!!

by Red Zeppelbon on Mar 20th, 2014

Hi Jana here,

Ghostbusters-Screencaps-ghostbusters-29593772-1920-1080

The latest installment of ‘Ghostbusters‘ has turned into the questionable existence equivalent of the Loch Ness Monster of Hollywood. When someone reports that it’s in the making, I treat it like a Bigfoot sighting. “Pics or it didn’t happen” seems to be my response to not only the rumors of the giant furry humanoid living in the woods a mile from my house, or the claims that my kids actually get along away from home, this reaction  is also what I extend to any rumors or buzz that ‘Ghostbusters 3‘ is past anything but the talks stage.

What happens to Ghostbusters 3 Without Harold Ramis?

by Red Zeppelbon on Feb 28th, 2014

Jana B. here,

Harold Ramis

Harold Ramis gave us years and years of laughter that came to an end way too early. The entertainment world will also tell us of the void he left within their ranks. We, the fans are left questioning the future of ‘Ghostbusters III‘. Sony is still managing to keep ‘Ghostbusters III‘ on track, even though Ramis was to have made a cameo appearance. Ivan Reitman, who formerly directed the first two Ghostbusters films is scheduled to meet with the heads of production to form a game plan to keep it in active development.

Paramount has just re-launched their television department and the first project that has been greenlit is a TV series based on the hit film ‘Ghost‘, which won Oscars more than twenty years ago. Movie Quotes

[Captain Typho is trying to talk Padme out of leaving Coruscant without protection]
Captain Typho:
My Lady, let me come with you.
Padmé:
There is no danger. The fighting is over, and... this is personal.
[Typho bows]
Captain Typho:
As you wish, My Lady... but I strongly disagree.
Padmé:
I'll be all right, Captain. This is something I must do myself. Besides, Threepio will look after me.
C-3PO:
Oh, dear.
