‘Modern Family’ Getting New Baby Lily?!?!

by Gumbercules9000 on Jul 7th, 2011

Hi Bryan Here….

It looks like the twin girls Ella and Jaden Hiller who play Lily, the adopted baby of Cam and Mitchell will be leaving the show and be replaced by an older actress or two.  The Modern Family producers have posted a casting call for  an “Asian, 3- to 4-year-old daughter of Mitchell and Cameron.”  So I guess Lily will have aged a couple of years.  I wonder if she will talk.

Today’s Geek Deal of the day is the first complete season of the hit comedy show, “Modern Family”.  I love this show.  This show, while not as great as Arrested Development, is still an amazingly hilarious show.  Every character is charmingly funny.

The Munsters are Getting a Reboot!

by Gumbercules9000 on Aug 10th, 2017

Hi everyone, Bryan here…

Does no production company or tv network have any original ideas anymore? When will these studios and networks take a chance on something new? Ugh. Anyway, NBC is reviving The Munsters, which was a 1960s comedy series of lovable monsters. It was like Leave it to Beaver, but with monsters. Jill Kargman and Seth Meyers are behind the reboot. This new take will be a half-hour single camera show, which is now in full gear, and will follow the family in a hip area of Brooklyn, trying to fit in.

Hey guys, Jana here,

14148_large_Justin_Long

In more TV news today, Justin Long is set to star in ‘Dream Team‘, an ABC half hour comedy from writers Kari Lizer and Bill Wrubel. Long is an excellent comedic actor with memorable roles in a dozen things from ‘Dodgeball: A True Underdog Story‘ to ‘Galaxy Quest‘, ‘Accepted’ before popping up in a bit more of an action role in ‘Live Free or Die Hard‘ but his character had one foot firmly planted in the funny world, as well. He also starred in one of Kevin Smith’s forays into the horror world with ‘Tusk‘.

Bryan Kluger’s Best/Worst of 2015!!

by Gumbercules9000 on Dec 30th, 2015

Hi everyone, Bryan Here…

1140-mfg-2015-Readers-Choice-Best-Movie-poll-collage-promo.imgcache.rev1449178940055.web.722.414

I can’t believe how fast this year has gone by. 2015 was an interesting year to say the least, most of which was great. Movie-wise, I think 2015 had some excellent films filling its theaters, but of course it had some real stinkers too. Below is my list of the Best and Worst films of 2015.  I believe this year I watched over 175 new films, theatrically speaking and it was very difficult to narrow them down from 25. After some strawberry cake covered in Lucky Charms, I finally had a TOP 15, however, these films are in no particular order this year. But when you talk about the Best movies, you have to mention the worst too. My list tends to be a tad bit different from others, but hey, I’m twisted. I highly encourage you to seek out these movies – good or bad and enjoy the rest of your year.

Hey guys, Jana here,

Damage_Control_1

When you hear the name Marvel attached to a project it doesn’t only have to mean action, it will soon be synonymous with comedy, as well. ‘Damage Control‘ will take it’s place on ABC besides ‘Marvel’s Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D.‘ and ‘Agent Carter‘.

Kevin Arnold is coming back to Primetime television. I mean, Fred Savage is coming back to tv and no, not as Kevin Arnold, at least yet. (I’m looking at you Netflix). Hey guys, Jana here,

Untitled-5_0

“Hello, IT. Have you tried turning it off and on again?” If you recognize that line, you will probably be excited about the idea of a remake. I’m talking about ‘The IT Crowd‘, of course. NBC has given a put pilot commitment to the reimagining of a sitcom that aired for 5 seasons. Technically, the show ran for four series of six episodes each, a fifth series was commissioned it was concluded with a one-off episode that aired last year. For those that are unfamiliar with the term “put pilot”, it is an agreement that the host company, NBC in this instance, will air the pilot episode basically ensuring that the serial will be picked up. If the network declines to air the pilot, they will owe a fairly large amount of money to the studio.
