by Gumbercules9000 on Jan 17th, 2018

(Portions of this “film” review are written by Dan Moran)

Sequels should never be this good. Blade Runner 2049 is Blade Runner adjacent. It is packed with so many themes and things to discover on repeat viewings. The connection to the original is blatantly there but this movie pushes so far beyond the original and expands the World.

Film Review: ‘Hail, Caesar!”

by Gumbercules9000 on Feb 3rd, 2016

Hi everyone, Bryan Here….

It’s always a good time when the Coen Bros. have a new movie in theaters. Film after film, the Coen Bros. have not only told bizarre, funny, violent, musical stories, but have conjured up some of the best characters in movie history. Their uncanny talent for telling stories on film is unrivaled with each movie they make. Film Review: ‘Skyfall’

by Gumbercules9000 on Nov 8th, 2012

Hi, Bryan Here….

It’s hard to believe that the James Bond series is 50 years old now.  Don’t let the age fool you, because with the latest installment of Bond, ‘Skyfall’ might just be the best one yet.  Action-packed with giant set pieces, bits of humor, one of the best villains in Bond history, and one hell of an homage to the original Bond should make ‘Skyfall’ and instant classic and fan favorite of the 007 franchise.
