Hey everyone, Black Mariah here…

I am ramping up for this weekend’s inevitable epic event, Dallas Comic Con’s Fan Days. Since attending my first convention nearly 9 years ago (great story, I ran into Corey Feldman. Literally.) I have had the opportunity to attend conventions from both coasts, and truly, no one puts on a great convention multiple times a year like they do it in Dallas. I mean nobody.

This weekend will be no exception. Now that the production torch has been passed to a larger company (Canada, EH!) and we have made it through the first convention no worse for the wear from that transition, I can say with the utmost confidence that this convention will , as it has every year, raise the bar for convention experience.

I am thrilled with the guest list for this weekend, Elijah Wood and Sean Astin are certainly going to be a treat with a bonus ‘Lord of the Rings‘ panel on Saturday with the both of them at 3 PM. Burt Ward an Adam West never disappoint our favorite gotham duo that remains everyone’s favorite cantankerous odd couple, with a panel on Batman and Robin on Saturday at 1 PM. James Hong is a very exciting guest for me as the star of two of my favorite films, Blade Runner and Big Trouble in Little China, will be joining the celebrity panel all weekend as well as a panel on his career on Friday.

Cosplay panels with the likes of Nicole Marie Jean and more as well as the infamous costume contest will round out the weekend. Lots of great Funko and comic art exclusives are available at Fan Days. Hope to see all of you there.
