We now have a full trailer for the upcoming live-action ‘Paddington Bear‘ film, simply titled ‘Paddington‘. If you’ve been online in the social media world the last few days, you might have come across some funny memes that has the famous bear photoshopped into some gruesome horror movie scenes. Dan Moran’s Top Films of 2018 and his Award Nominations!

by Gumbercules9000 on Dec 30th, 2018

This year I saw 102 new movies in 2018. That number is actual movies released in 2018. I count Netflix and streaming movies released this year because that is where we are heading but the majority of the 102 was in movie theaters. I decided not to rank my top movies this year because at the end of the day the difference between #10 thru #3 is usually based on my mood when I write the list. So I just put my top movies in ABC order.

Film Review: ‘Hotel Transylvania 3: Summer Vacation’!

by Gumbercules9000 on Jul 9th, 2018

Hotel Transylvania 3 picks up after Hotel Transylvania 2 and I assume 1. It follows the father-daughter relationship of Dracula and his daughter Mavis. The first one was about Mavis, a vampire, marrying a normal human named Jonny. The second was about Mavis and Jonny deciding where to raise their child. This one is about how tough it is being wedding planners at Count Dracula’s Castle so they all take a vacation where Dracula attempts to find love again.

I was really shocked with what a good year it has been for horror and movies staying with me in general. It is pretty rare that I think about a movie days after seeing it but this year there have been so many.

‘The Secret Garden’ is Getting the Remake Treatment!

by Gumbercules9000 on Jun 7th, 2016

Hi everyone, Bryan here…

Hollywood is now remaking ‘The Secret Garden‘ yet again. I’ll say that the last big film adaptation of the classic family book was back in 1993, so there has been a little bit of time between remakes. David Heyman and Studio Canal are set to produce the film, which Heyman is mostly known for producing all of the ‘Harry Potter‘ films. The studio has hired Jack Thorne to write the screenplay.

Hello Everyone, Janet W. here…

Below are my Top 10 Best Films and Top 3 Worst Films of 2015 that I was either blessed or, in some cases, annoyed to screen, 36 in all (I also screened four DVD and/or Blu-ray releases). Feedback is encouraged whether you agree, disagree, think I’m nuts (I am a little crazy), or if you think of a film that I reviewed which should have been included. Here you go:
