‘Obsession’ – Blu-ray Review!

by Gumbercules9000 on Jan 7th, 2019

Back in 1976, director Brian De Palma (Scarface) and writer Paul Schrader (Taxi Driver) collaborated on a movie titled ‘Obsession‘. It was their tribute to Alfred Hitchcock’sVertigo‘ and starred Cliff Robertson and John Lithgow. Hi Bryan Here…

One of the best films in the last 50 years.  Right at the top of that list.  Robert De Niro is fucking brilliant in this movie.  I can’t believe this movie has not been released on bluray yet.  This film is unrelenting, unmerciful, brutal, and all kinds of AWESOME.  A MUST OWN MOVIE.

Movie Quotes

Ben Sanderson:

Sera:
Well... that's what I want.
Ben Sanderson:
You haven't seen the worst of it. I knock things over... throw up all the time. These past few days I've been very controlled. You're like some sort of antidote that mixes with the liquor and keeps me in balance. But, that won't last forever.
