Hi, Bryan Here….

One of the more popular wrestlers in the WWE in the past few years, CM Punk, has allegedly walked out on the organization. This may not have surprised WWE fans, as over the last few weeks, there has been speculation that Punk won’t renew his contract with the company, which is up very soon.

Recently, Punk held the WWE Championship belt for over a year, but since he lost the belt, his storyline and matches have been put on the backburner, and while he is still incredibly popular with the crowd, he doesn’t receive the air time or better story-lines like he once did. Recently, Punk walked out of some house shows, meaning shows that weren’t televised, and he told WWE CEO Vince McMahon that he was “going home”.

And if you watched this past Sunday’s Royal Rumble, you would have seen them there, but next day’s live taping of RAW, he was nowhere to be found, as he didn’t show up. Sure, I understand wrestling is “fake”. The matches are pre-determined, and it’s all part of the entertainment aspect. And of course, many a wrestling super-star has “quit” and “walked off” in the past, only to return a few weeks later. And this can certainly be the case here, but I wouldn’t be surprised if it went the other way, and we had to say a real goodbye to CM Punk.

I’m just hoping that this is just part of a very cool storyline for Wrestlemania XXX, which airs in April. One of CM Punk’s recent tweets said, “Thanks for all the support. Keep being you guys, it’s pretty cool.” Take that as you will, but hopefully, Punk will be around for a while. The WWE needs him.

Movie Quotes

Carla Dean:
[while reading the newspaper] Robert, how could you let me find out like this?
Robert Clayton Dean:
Honey, *I* found out like this. These are all lies, okay, none of this stuff is true.
Carla Dean:
Did you see her?
Robert Clayton Dean:
Yes, we had lunch together, she is the contact for the investigator, Brill. You're right about this, they got this from the security camera from the restaurant.
Carla Dean:
I thought you said she's not an issue.
Robert Clayton Dean:
She's not, I have to see her for business.
Carla Dean:
They said you had an affair with her, Robert. An affair. We went to marriage counseling for a year, and now, you're standing here lying about seeing her, you make me sick.
Robert Clayton Dean:
Carla, I am "smeared" all over the newspaper today for money-laundering schemes, mob ties, I lost my job. I am telling you, I am telling you is, trust me, on this Rachel Banks thing right now.
Carla Dean:
How in god's name can I trust you? Bobbie, I want you to leave.
Robert Clayton Dean:
Carla, I'm telling you, this is all bullshit.
Carla Dean:
I want you to leave, I can't think with you in my face.
Robert Clayton Dean:
[yelling over Carla] Carla, how can you expect me to do this when you believe in this bullshit?
Carla Dean:
Just go Bobbie, go!
