‘Sharknado 2’ Has A Cast Now!!

by Gumbercules9000 on Feb 12th, 2014

Hi, Bryan Here…

Sharknado

We already know that there was going to be a ‘Sharknado‘ sequel, and that the execs in charge of the film went to Twitter to come up with a title for the second film. Now we have ‘Sharknado 2: The Second One‘, and moves the location from Los Angeles to New York. But now it has its perfect cast, which is all new. And the choices are just amazing and at the same time, ridiculous.

Find Out What Kim L. Thought About ‘The To Do List’!!!

by Gumbercules9000 on Jul 26th, 2013

Kim L., Here….

to-do-list-aubrey-plaza

The To Do List‘ is very funny and the trailers do not do it justice.  I was pleasantly surprised by how much I laughed out loud. The film is set in 1993 and follows a recent high school graduate, Brandy Klark played by Aubrey Plaza, who wants to be more experienced sexually before going off to college.  She makes a “To Do List” or as I like to call it a “Sexual Bucket List”.

DIFF Film Review: ‘Jump’!!

by Gumbercules9000 on Apr 8th, 2013

Hi, Bryan Here….

pr36697-2-jump-directed-by-kieron-j-walsh

Hailing from Ireland, Kieron J. Walsh’sJump‘ is a dark and twisted tale with elements of comedy that will attract the indie-film crowd at first glance, but loses its appeal very fast. You can tell that Walsh has a passion for the movie business and a true love of cinema, as he pays homage to several styles of filmmaking throughout the picture, however the several different story lines that intersect in a ‘Pulp Fiction‘ like way do not have enough time on screen for anyone to develop a relationship with the characters.

Hi, Bryan Here….

Why is this happening?  I don’t get it.  Universal Pictures has just inked a deal for ‘The Legend of Conan’, an action film that is set to star Arnold Schwarzenegger in a role he made famous a few decades ago.  Universal released the first film of the series back in 1982 and really boosted Schwarzenegger’s film career.

The Top Lucky 13 Horror Movie Soundtracks!!!

by Gumbercules9000 on Oct 4th, 2012

Lisa S. Here….

While compiling this list, I realized there was no way I could choose only 10 of the best horror soundtracks. So, because I thrive on being different, I am very pleased to bring you 13 of the choicest, rarest, and most kick ass horror soundtracks that I know of. Every one of the following are so good, it was really difficult to rate them from best to bestest.  Each and every one of these titles hails from the very late 70’s thru the 80’s…how incredibly biased of me.

I hope you enjoy it.

Hi, Bryan Here….

I’m so excited for this release.  Finally, the ultimate edition blu-ray for John Carpenter’s ‘The Live’ starring Rowdy Roddy Piper will be released November 6th, 2012.  I was hoping they’d get this out before Halloween, but at least they are getting it out before the holiday season.  Tons of AWESOME extras come with this release.  I can wait.  No specs have been announced yet, but I will update everyone once those become available. That cover art is too cool.

BRIDGE – Chapter Nineteen

by Justin Cline on Apr 25th, 2012

CHAPTER NINETEEN

By the eighth Mississippi, Bridge had his map back in hand and a good idea of where he was headed.  It must have been a long walk from the cemetery to The Bethany for a man who’d been forced to vacate his own grave, but in the van it was a short ride from their current location to the outskirts of the city.  The hope in making the trip was to find something—anything—at the gravesite that would point him forward in the investigation.  Between himself and the cat, they had killed off all other viable leads. BRIDGE – Chapter Seventeen

by Justin Cline on Apr 11th, 2012

CHAPTER SEVENTEEN

Sirens wailed in the distance.  Someone must have called the cops.  There were numerous apartment buildings along this street, all of which would have a perfect view of the goings-on below.  Had they simply heard a commotion or witnessed actual bloodshed?  The results were the same either way.  Bridge intended to be long gone by the time the first squad car arrived on the scene.  He wasn’t one for answering questions, especially when the first question asked would be How did this guy happen to lose his skeleton? Hi Bryan Here….

Just hearing that makes me giddy, but also at the same time, nervous.  This film could go either way really.  Al Pacino, Christopher Walken, and Alan Arkin are all set to star in an action comedy called ‘Stand Up Guys’.  It was originally called ‘Old Timers’.  Good title change.  The movie will be directed by Fisher Stevens.  Yes.  That Fisher Stevens.

Hi Bryan Here….

One of Cinemax’s first original series gets picked up for a second season.  ‘Strike Back’ will be back in 2012 with brand new episodes.  Ten episodes to be exact.  Production is expected to begin in South Africa early next year.  Kudos to Cinemax for finally getting in the original programming game.  It’s a tough to compete with HBO and Showtime right now.  Hopefully Cinemax will do more genre series.  That’s what I would like to see.

FedMex Here….

If you like to be taken completely off guard by a film when you go into it, you might want to stop reading now.  I’ll try to stay away from  giving too much away, but Drive was an experience that I was completely unprepared for, and I’m much happier that I came in knowing nothing before watching this.  Let’s see what happened…
