Hey guys, Jana here,

Jennifer Lawrence and Bradley Cooper are this generation’s Doris Day and Rock Hudson, Meg Ryan and Tom Hanks – whatever you want to call them, they’re brilliant! Director David O. Russell has taken an obvious notice of this and continues to cast the pair in his films to rousing success. Then again, that’s a Russell standard, he finds actors he likes and he sticks with them. In this case, Robert DeNiro is another who has worked with him in the past that appears in ‘Joy‘. Under Russell’s direction, each of the actors has been nominated for an Academy Award for their performances, with JLaw winning for ‘Silver Linings Playbook‘.

JOY is the wild story of a family across four generations centered on the girl who becomes the woman who founds a business dynasty and becomes a matriarch in her own right. Betrayal, treachery, the loss of innocence and the scars of love, pave the road in this intense emotional and human comedy about becoming a true boss of family and enterprise facing a world of unforgiving commerce. Allies become adversaries and adversaries become allies, both inside and outside the family, as Joy’s inner life and fierce imagination carry her through the storm she faces. “
