Hi Bryan Here

Some more news for you from Sundance Film Festival.  At the screening of Lucky McKee’s new film, “The Woman”, some guy got so upset and so offended that he became irate and crazy and had to be physically removed from the screening.  Luckily somebody filmed it.

You probably do not know who the director Lucky McKee is. One of his first feature films he directed was a little film called “MAY”.  This movie was brilliant.  If you have not seen it, get out now, and see it somehow.  Or better yet, click the link below and purchase the film.  You will love the film.  May is a film about a lonely young girl who has had a terrible, crazy, god awful childhood, and now she is a teenager and trying to bond with people.  It is sick, twisted, dark, funny, haunting, and heart warming all at the same time.  This movie was so great.

Now Lucky has a new film that debuted here at Sundance called, “The Woman“.  The official synopsis is: “Family man and lawyer Christoper Cleek (Sean Bridgers) must do what he can to protect his family when he comes into contact with a feral woman (Pollyana McIntosh) living in the woods near his isolated country home. Through a series of harrowing encounters Cleek and his family quickly discover there is more to this woman than anyone would suspect and that sometimes the devil wears a handsome face.”

Some guy in the audience was so distraught by what he saw on screen that he became unruly, crazy and was forcibly removed by staff.  Someone recorded the whole thing.  HILARIOUS.

I think Lucky McKee is “LUCKY” for this guy.  So much press now about it and what a hell of a slogan to put on the poster or dvd/bluray.  “THIS FILM SHOULD BE CONFISCATED”!!!

This makes me want to see the movie more.  Can’t wait.
