The Bishop Charlotte Reporting….

Marlon Wayans hasn’t been on TV for sixteen years. I didn’t miss him, but as The Wayans Bros. ran for five seasons, I’m apparently the only one.Nonetheless, Wayans is making a return with a sibling-cop (as opposed to buddy-cop) sitcom on ABC. He will write it, executive produce it, and star in it. Joining him in the executive producer’s chair is Lisa Blum, his manager, and Rick Alvarez of Wayans Bros Entertainment.

The story will focus on two brothers, both cops. One is married with kids, the other is down on his luck. The unfortunate one moves in with the happy one, and off it goes from there. This could either be unique and hilarious or unoriginal and mildly amusing.

More as this develops.
