Haley Joel Osment is all grown up now and is going to give it the old college try at acting again.  This time it will be a horror film about zombies.  Osment is set to star in ‘Wake the Dead’ which is based on the Steve Niles graphic novel which is an odd take at the Frankenstein story.

“Osment will play Victor Franklin, a college student who attempts to bring the dead back to life. It doesn’t go quite right!”  Jay Russell will be directing.  Russell is known for ‘Ladder 49′, ‘My Dog Skip’, ‘The Water Horse’, and ‘Tuck Everlasting’.  And Slash will be producing.  Yes, that Slash.

I am looking forward to seeing this crazy film.  As we all know now, Slash is actually Santa.
