Hi everyone, Bryan Here…
Finally, season 4 of BBC’s ‘Sherlock‘ is gaining steam and we will have three new 90-minute episodes sooner than later. BBC announced today that actor Toby Jones will join Season 4 as the villain. Jones has been in a ton of films, including ‘The Mist‘, ‘Wayward Pines‘, voiced Dobby the Elf in the ‘Harry Potter‘ films, ‘Hunger Games‘, and ‘Captain America‘.
Creator Steven Moffat said, “Delighted to have Toby Jones on board, bringing to life one of Sir Arthur Conan Doyle’s finest villains.” There is no word on which villain Toby will play, but we can speculate. We hear that Season 4 of ‘Sherlock‘ will have Holmes (Benedict Cumberbatch) back in England as Watson (Martin Freeman) and his wife Mary (Amanda Abbington) are preparing to be parents.
I can only imagine Sherlock babysitting the new kid and what kind of hijinks will ensue. Having Toby Jones added as the villain here is amazing. He will play a calculating and cruel villain, I bet, and I just can’t wait to watch it all. More info to come when available.
