HBO’s seventh season of ‘Game of Thrones‘ can count Jim Broadbent (‘London Spy‘) among it’s co-stars. The Oscar winner has joined the drama in what’s described as a “significant role”, but of course there are no other details to go on other than that.
It’s entirely likely we won’t know the details about Broadbent’s role until the season premieres in June of 2017. If you plan to look to the source novels by George R.R. Martin for character clues – good luck – the sixth book in the ‘A Song Of Ice And Fire‘ series has not been released, yet, and the television show has gone further than the books.
Granted, we still have a while to go before we can see exactly which character Broadbent will portray, but 2017 is just four months away, right?
