Hi, Bryan Here…

Colin Farrell ... In Bruges.

Colin Farrell and Rachel Weisz have just signed on to star in Greek director Yorgos Lanthimos’s new film called ‘The Lobster‘. Lanthimos’s big claim to fame was the 2009 Oscar nominated film called ‘Dogtooth‘. Shooting shold begin in late March in Ireland with Ben Whishaw, Léa Seydoux, Olivia Colman, Ariane Labed and Angeliki Papoulia already in the cast.

‘The Lobster’ is set in a dystopian future where finding a partner is a matter of life and death. Jason Clarke (‘Zero Dark Thirty‘) was originally slated to star in this, but had to drop out due to a schedule conflict on the project ‘Everest‘. Lanthimos and Efthimis Filippou have co-written the script together. Not sure where the Lobster part comes in, but this definitely sounds interesting.
