The speculation is over and it’s official that the man behind the Deathstroke mask is Joe Manganiello!!! Ben Affleck’s standalone Batman film has recruited the ‘Magic Mike‘ dancer to become what’s described in the DC comic book world as one of the most deadly assassins.
Batfleck teased an image of Deathstroke on his Twitter feed last week leading to all sorts of speculation as to who was under the mask and in which film he wold be seen. The confirmation came today from DC Entertainment president and chief creative officer Geoff Johns in an interview with a reporter from one of the least likely sources when one thinks of entertainment news – the Wall Street Journal.
Right now Deathstroke is being confirmed only for the solo Batfleck flick, but it’s possible that we could see him in the ‘Justice League‘ movie as well.
