Hi, Bryan Here….

Ron Howard and Brian Grazer are making a Jay-Z movie.  They will be filming Jay-Z’s ‘Made in America’ music festival in Philadelphia.  The lineup which starts September 1st includes Pearl Jam, Run-DMC, Drake, Rick Ross, Skrillex, Odd Future, and Janelle Monae.  This is insane.  I would have never guessed according to NYP.

Grazer said, “The festival showcases 20 pre-eminent artists that speak to the new generation. I am producing the film with Steve Stoute and Jay. Ron is directing. It is going to be born through Jay-Z’s perspective . . . how he puts the event together.” Grazer added, “Jay stayed the king for a very long time . . . I can’t even begin to explain how he is capable of remaining relevant. He is a phenom, like a musical Michael Jordan.”

I guess everybody is trying to be like Mike.  There can be only one Space Jam.  And Ron, stick with ‘Arrested Development for the time being.  I’m having withdraws.

Your thoughts?
