Hi Bryan Here…

Will Smith has chosen his next project according to Deadline.  He will star with his son, Jaden again in a a sci-fi horror thriller with M. Night Shyamalan set to write and possibly direct.

The story will follow a young boy and his estranged father, who will have to navigate an abandoned and ruined Earth 1000 years in the future after crashing their spaceship.  This sounds like Men in Black meets I am Legend meets Road Warrior.

The script will be written by Shyamalan and Gary Whitta (Book of Eli) with a big possibility of Shyamalan jumping back into the director’s chair for his own story.

Now Shyamalan has not made a decent film since “The Village”.  I feel like he has lost focus and decided to make horrible children’s films. But to quote M. Night, “The chance to make a scary, science-fiction film starring Jaden and Will is my dream project.”

So with that said: if M. Night really puts his mind to it and centers all of his attention to making a kick-ass smart film like he used to, then maybe, just maybe he will make an epic masterpiece of a post apocalyptic future horror film.

My Lady, let me come with you.

Captain Typho:
As you wish, My Lady... but I strongly disagree.
Padmé:
I'll be all right, Captain. This is something I must do myself. Besides, Threepio will look after me.

Oh, dear.
