Scott Bomar is a Memphis based musician and composer who is a wizard at creating music and scores for film. He has worked with Al Green, Cyndi Lauper, and has scored the films Hustle and Flow, Black Snake Moan, Soul Men, and more recently – Dolemite Is My Name, all of which are fantastic and super groovy.

The three of us have a candid and wonderful discussion about creating music for various types of genres, Scott’s beginnings in the music field, record collections, taking a road trip with Samuel L Jackson, and much more.
