After playing the ultimate nice guy in Captain America, it seems that Evans is eying some new territory: contract killing.
Evans is replacing James Franco in The Iceman, the story of Richard Kuklinski. The title character will be played by Michael Shannon (Jonah Hex) , with Evans as his mentor Robert Pronge. Maggie Gyllenhaal is attached to play Kuklinski’s wife.
The Iceman is written and directed by Ariel Vromen (Danika). The novel that the movie is based on was written by Anthony Bruno. More as this develops.
