Hi Bryan Here…

The DGA (Directors Guild of America) have picked their five nominations for Best Director for the year of 2010.  This usually is what we will see at the Oscars.

Best Director Nominations are:

Darren Aronofsky, Black Swan
David Fincher, The Social Network
Tom Hooper, The King’s Speech
Christopher Nolan, Inception
David O. Russell, The Fighter

It is very cool to see a few newer directors get nominated.  I think it will be between Nolan and Aronofsky, but who knows.  I was sad to NOT see Danny Boyle for his “127 Hours” and Gareth Edwards for his “Monsters”  I really feel like they should be on this list or added to this list.
