Hi everyone, Bryan here…

I’ve been waiting to travel to Stars Hollow again for a long time and the wait is almost over. Netflix has provided a new trailer for the upcoming mini-series that will air on Netflix November 25th with four brand new 90-minute episodes. Everyone from the original show has come back including Lorelai (Lauren Graham), Rory (Alexis Bledel) and Emily (Kelly Bishop) through all seasons, beginning with winter and ending with fall.

Series creator Amy Sherman-Palladino wrote and directed all the episodes with her husband and executive producer Dan Palladino. In addition to the Gilmore women, Scott Patterson (Luke), Keiko Agena (Lane) and Sean Gunn (Kirk) also reprise their roles full-time in the new edition, joining a slew of returning fan favorites and special guest stars.

Official Synopsis: Gilmore girls makes its much-anticipated return with four memorable chapters from the lives of Lorelai, Emily, Rory and countless more Stars Hollow stalwarts. Picking up nine years after we last dropped in on the whimsical Connecticut town, Gilmore girls: A Year in the Life finds each of our leading ladies at a major crossroad: Lorelai’s relationship with Luke is at an unnerving standstill; Rory’s budding journalism career in New York has stalled before it’s even begun; and Emily’s world is turned upside down following the untimely passing of her beloved husband, Richard.

Gilmore girls: A Year in the Life is told through four 90-minute chapters — each spanning one season: Winter, Spring, Summer, Fall — and brings back to life everything from the quaint corner diner to the dreamy Dragonfly Inn to a fast-talking, quick-witted mother-daughter love story unlike any other. Gilmore girls: A Year in the Life launches Friday, November 25, everywhere that Netflix is available.

Enjoy the trailer, because I sure did.

Movie Quotes

[the Bride sees B.B. for the first time]
B.B.:
Freeze, Mommy!
Bill:
Bang bang!
[pretends to be shot]
Bill:
Oh! She got us, B.B. I'm dying.
B.B.:
Oh, I'm dying, I'm dying...
Bill:
Fall down, sweetheart. Mommy shot you.
[both fall down and pretend to die]
Bill:
[in a narrative tone] But little did Quick-Draw Kiddo know that little B.B. was only playing possum, due to the fact that she was impervious to bullets.
B.B.:
[sits up] I am pervious to bullets, Mommy.
Bill:
Hey, get back down there. You're playing possum.
[in a narrative tone]
Bill:
So, as the smirking killer approached what she thought was a bullet-ridden corpse, that's when little B.B. fired!
[B.B. gets up and pretends to shoot the Bride]
B.B.:
Bang bang!
Bill:
You're dead, Mommy... so die.
[the Bride is still shocked]
Bill:
B.B.
[comes out of it and acts out a huge death scene]
The Bride:
Oh, B.B., you got me. I should have known... you are the best.
[collapses to the ground and pretends to die]
B.B.:
Oh, Mommy, don't die. I was just playing.
The Bride:
I know.
