Hey guys, Jana here,

Scream Factory presents ‘Misery‘ in a 2-disc collector’s edition Blu-ray set that will arrive November 28, 2017. From the chilling mind of Stephen King, ‘Misery‘ is based on his novel of the same name. If you’ve read the story, you wince at the thought of Annie Wilkes with an axe, but if you’ve watched the movie, you’ve cringed when you think of  Kathy Bates with a sledgehammer. A role that will lead Bates to accept an Academy Award for her off-center portrayal of the crazed #1 fan, Annie Wilkes.

Hey guys, Jana here,

Bruce_Willis

Broadway and Hollywood have shared the same actors since the beginning of film, it shouldn’t come as much of a surprise when a big screen actor makes the transition to the Great White Way, but on occasion, it is when it’s an actor I never really considered for that format, tonight’s shocker comes in the form of Bruce Willis.

I’m fairly sure I’m more than just a little ADD, so bear with me, I’ll get us back to topic.

Jana B., Here…

There is a list of things that actually make me Squee like a fan girl. Yes, ‘Squee’. Look it up on Urban Dictionary. Watching The Princess Bride as a kid was one of my greatest memories of lazy summer afternoons, impromptu snowed in school days with hot chocolate and a blanket. Being sick and all I wanted was my mom’s sick soup and to watch The Princess Bride, or read it. Now my sick movies are not only The Princess Bride, buy Gone With The Wind, as well. I’m not even close to being alone with my love of the cult classic that forever made The Foundations song, Build Me Up Buttercup, only think of Robin Wright and how the angsty Westley must have felt at times.

Hi, Bryan Here…

“As you wish.”  Looks like we will all have to be shelling out money again for the 25th anniversary edition of ‘The Princess Bride’.  From celebrated director Rob Reiner (‘The Bucket List’) and Oscar®-winning screenwriter William Goldman (‘Butch Cassidy and the Sundance Kid’) comes “an enchanting fantasy” (Time) filled with adventure, romance and plenty of “good-hearted fun” (Roger Ebert). Featuring a spectacular cast that includes Robin Wright (‘Forrest Gump’), Cary Elwes (‘No Strings Attached’), Mandy Patinkin (‘Homeland’) and Billy Crystal (‘Tooth Fairy’), this wonderful fairy tale about a Princess named Buttercup and her beloved is “a real dream of a movie” (People).
