Mark Isham has been in the music business for many years, playing with such people as Joni Mitchell and Van Morrison to packed venues. He’s an accomplished classical, electronic, and jazz musician, playing piano and trumpet mainly and has released some fantastic albums over the years. In addition to that, Isham is a prolific film composer, providing original scores to some amazing motion pictures over the years, including Litte Fires Everywhere, Point Break, Fire in the Sky, Crash, Nell, Quiz Show, The Majestic, The Conjuring, The Mist, and the upcoming Bill & Ted 3 film.

We also dive into Isham’s origins in the music business, his favorite instruments to play, his most thrilling music experience, working with tons of musicians, including Frank Zappa, and the multitude of films he’s created music for. It’s a fun and informative talk.
