Netflix has a new original movie they are releasing on their streaming platform on July 14th called To The Bone that stars Lily Collins and Keanu Reeves. Don’t expect John Wick to walk in and start offing people or Ted Theodore Logan to start playing the guitar here. This is on a more serious note, which follows a young woman named Ellen (Lily Collins), who suffers from severe anorexia and enters a group recovery home in a last ditch effort to get better and survive. There, a fun and unconventional doctor (Keanu Reeves) will learn how to conquer the awfulness of anorexia.

Marti Noxon is directing and also wrote the screenplay, which is based on her on issues with anorexia. The trailer looks quite good with Collins looking to take home acting awards come later this year. Also, it’s nice to see Keanu play a doctor again in a drama film, because let’s all agree, the guy is top notch talent. I’m really looking forward to this one.
