Hey guys, Jana here,

The sequel to ‘Fantastic Beasts and Where To Find Them‘ has decided who will embody one of the most influential and powerful wizards from J.K. Rowling’s Harry Potter world. Jude Law will play a younger Dumbledore.

Director David Yates is returning to the magical world. He’s not the only familiar face in the sequel, much of the original cast is returning including Eddie Redmayne who anchored the original film as Newt Scamander, with Dan Fogler playing Scamander’s partner in all things risky. The Goldstein sisters will be played by Katherine Waterston and Alison Sudol, Leta Lestrange will be played by Zoë Kravitz, Ezra Miller reprises his role of Credence Barebone, Johnny Depp takes on playing the villainous Gellert Grindelwald.

The sequel will be set decades before the events in the Harry Potter films and years before Dumbledore became the headmaster of Hogwarts, but is the school’s transfiguration professor. The story picks up where the first left off and it’s an increasingly bleak time for the magical world, a time that forces each person to decide where their loyalties lie. ‘Fantastic Beasts 2‘ will bow on big screens November 16, 2018.
