In the wake of Ryan Murphy’s latest season premiere of ‘American Horror Story‘ last night, FX has released a trailer, well more of a teaser really of another of Murphy’s upcoming shows, ‘American Crime Story: The People v. O.J.’.
If you’re expecting courtroom drama or brutal murder re-enactments in the trailer, you’ll be a bit disappointed as we see the only witness of the strangely contested events surrounding the murder, Nicole Brown Simpson’s dog.
ACS will explore the trial in a 10-episode series that stars Cuba Gooding Jr. as Simpson; John Travolta channels his inner Robert Shapiro, Sarah Paulson pulls off the dark curls of Marcia Clark and David Schwimmer embodies Robert Kardashian while Selma Blair plays Kris Jenner.
The project is being adapted from Jeffrey Toobin’s book, ‘The Run of His Life: The People v. O.J. Simpson‘ and Murphy exec produces and directs the first episode.
