Director Joe Dante (‘Gremlins‘, ‘Small Soldiers‘), is following up his latest efforts in ‘Hawaii Five-0‘ with ‘Burying the Ex‘. A comedy/horror that gives a tongue-in-cheek look at how your previous relationships can truly kill your chances the next time around.

Anton Yelchin (Chekov from ‘Star Trek‘, ‘Fright Night‘) stars as Max, the boyfriend of controlling and manipulative Evelyn played by ‘Twilight‘ alum Ashley Greene, once Max has had enough, he struggles to find the right way to tell her it’s over when fate intervenes and Evelyn is killed in a freak accident. A few months goes by and Max is ready to start dating again and he meets his dream girl, Olivia (Alexandra Daddario). Things are progressing fabulously until Evelyn doesn’t let death stop her from the grip she held on Max when she was alive, and she’s determined to continue their relationship by any means necessary.

There isn’t an official release date but we know it’s coming this summer, check it out and tell me what you think!
