Hi Bryan Here….

Very cool news from Showtime and two very cool and creative Steves.  Showtime network is partnering with Steven Spielberg and Stephen King to bring King’s ‘Under the Dome’ novel to the small screen for a series.  The project will be produced by Spielberg’s company Dreamworks.

The supernatural thriller revolves around locals at a Maine vacation spot who battle one another when a force field suddenly surrounds their town and cuts them off from the rest of the world.  Spielberg purchased the rights to King’s novel shortly after it was released back in 2009.  They are currently on the hunt for a writer to pen the project.  King will be producing the show.

This is great news.  Spielberg and King recently worked together on The Talisman.  Glad to see them working together again.  I wonder if Spielberg will direct an episode.

Your thoughts?
