Hi Bryan Here…

Director Paul Greengrass (The Bourne sequels and The Green Zone) has a new project on his radar.  The film will be called “Memphis” and will be about the assassination of Martin luther King Jr according to DEADLINE.

The film will be produced by Scott Rudin.

The screenplay takes place in the final days of King’s life but not a whole lot of info other than that is known at this point.  No casting news for the film either.  Filming will start in June, so I bet we will hear tons of stuff about this project in the coming weeks.

Some questions I have about this film are:  Is the film going to follow King himself, or the events that surround him prior ot his death, or even the conspiracy theories that came to fruition on his assassination.?

None of this is known at the moment.

Greengrass directed the 9/11 film, “United 93”.  I’m thinking it will be more like this film.
