Westworld isn’t your typical amusement park. Intended for rich vacationers, the futuristic park allows its visitors to live out their most primal fantasies with the robotic “hosts.” However, the robotic hosts have evolved an artificial consciousness that is similar to, yet diverges from, human consciousness. No matter how illicit the fantasy may be, there are no consequences for the park’s guests, allowing for any wish to be indulged; but there is a price to be paid.

This is the show we’ve come to know and love. Comic-Con does what Comic-Con does best, we got a new trailer out of the deal for season 2 of the sweeping HBO series. We’ve got a new status quo to get used to now that the park is umm “under new management”. Sammy Davis, Jr. never sounds more haunting than in this blood-soaked teaser for season 2. We’ve still got most of our favorites present and accounted for, Ed Harris, James Marsden and Evan Rachel Wood happen to be mine, so I’m a happy, and excited camper ready for the continuation of the series, coming in 2018.
