It looks like singer-songwriter John Legend is ready to expand outside the music world by executive producing a new single-camera, half hour comedy project with his manager, Atom Factory’s Troy Carter for Showtime. This project, written by Austin Winsberg, will portray the high-profile world of music managers and will draw on experience from both Legend and Carter.

The Atom Factory also manages Lady Gaga and The Ceremonies. In the world of reality TV, I see this show being a huge hit, but this is not a reality show. It almost sounds like this is the music answer to HBO’s ‘Entourage‘. I expect big name cameos in this show. Let’s hope for the best.
