Well if this isn’t the coolest story of the day. I don’t know what is. Artist Ralph Steadman, whose work is some of the most unique and recognizable art of the modern age has teamed up with Vince Gilligan, the creator of ‘Breaking Bad‘, to create covers for an upcoming limited edition steel book Blu-rays of the hit series.
Steadman is most known for his collaborations with the legendary writer Hunter S. Thompson and is recently seen in the documentary about his life and work called ‘For No Good Reason‘, which Johnny Depp was a big part of. It looks like each season will have a steel book casing with Steadman’s artwork which features portraits of Walter White, Jesse Pinkman, Gus Fring, Hank Schrader, Saul Goodman, and Mike Ehrmantraut. They are all pretty impressive. I’m not sure when these are set to release exactly, but I expect April of next year. All seasons come with several great bonus features, which you can check out HERE.
