Well it looks like Netflix will be dabbling into a huge epic sci fi series in late 2014. ‘Sense8‘, which is a new project from the Wachowskis (‘The Matrix‘), landed 10 episodes with the movie rental giant. ‘Sense8‘ is a mind bending series that was created years ago over a conversation the Wachowskis had over technology and how it connects everything.

The series will be produced by Georgeville TV and Michael Straczynski’s Studio JMS. Straczynski is best known for being involved with the sci fi series ‘Babylon 5‘. Both Straczynski and the Wachowskis are excited to work together on this monumental project.  I look forward to seeing how mind bending this will be and how much it will cost.  The political drama ‘House of Cards‘ cost a reported $100 million for 13 episodes.  I can’t fathom how much ‘Sense8‘ will budget for.
