Funny-man Adam Devine will put his considerable acting and writing talents to work  with director Ari Sandel for ‘When We First Met‘. Devine will join co-star Alexandra Daddario who has already been cast in the rom-com with intentions of debuting the project at Cannes.

Sandel is the director from the hilarious teen flick ‘The DUFF‘ and Devine has been a fixture in the ‘Pitch Perfect‘ flicks, he has a featured role on TV’s ‘Modern Family‘ and is one of the anchors in the upcoming ‘Mike and Dave Need Wedding Dates‘.

Daddario got her first big role with ‘Percy Jackson & The Olympians: The Lightning Thief‘ and it’s sequel ‘Percy Jackson: Sea of Monsters‘ and she is part of the cast for the upcoming ‘Baywatch‘ movie which also stars Dwayne Johnson.

Devine will be Noah, he spends a perfect first night with the perfect girl, played by Daddario, but she quickly puts him into the friend zone where he spends the following three years trying to figure out what went wrong. Then he receives the chance to go back in time and change that night, and his future, all over again.
