Universal Pictures is making a biopic film based on the life and career of legendary musician, singer, dancer, and entertainer James Brown. Brown was known as the Godfather of Soul. Universal has just set Chadwick Boseman to play James Brown, which are some might difficult and soulful shoes to fill.

Boseman was recently seen in the film ‘42‘, where he played baseball legend and hero Jackie Robinson. Boseman was amazing as Robinson and I have no doubt that he will turn in a killer performance as James Brown. Tate Taylor who directed ‘The Help‘ will be directing this biopic with Mick Jagger producing.
