Now I am not a huge fan of Family Guy or The Cleveland Show or American Dad, but some of the jokes in those shows are decent, I just think they are held back by basic cable to show its true potential.

I think Seth McFarlane is a comedic genius though and given the right crew and script, he can come out with something truly amazing.

Well it seems that Seth has been asked to make a hard “R” comedy called Ted.  Ted stands for Teddy Bear.

It is suppose to be a big budget filthy rated “R” comedy about an adult male’s sentient, drug addicted, womanizing Teddy Bear.

They are in talks with Mark Wahlberg to play the lead role.  Which I think is great.  Wahlberg has great comedic timing.

Looking forward to seeing what all comes of this.
