What’s better than watching 1970’s TV series? Watching a movie based on the show that’s full of throwback glory written and directed by the one and only Mr. Kristen Bell, Dax Shepard. Warner Bros. debuts the trailer for ‘CHIPs‘. Shepard gets another credit for starring in this film that looks to be one of the funniest things I’ve seen. Dax stars as Jon Baker and Michael Peña co-stars as Frank ‘Ponch’ Poncherello. Lindsey Taylor, Adam Brody and Ryan Hansen co-star with an ensemble cast that is just flat-out hilarious.

Baker and Ponch partner up as motorcycle cops for the California Highway Patrol in Los Angeles. This time around it’s a little different because Ponch is an undercover Federal agent who’s looking for inside information, and dirty cops, on a multi-million dollar job that points to it being an inside job. While all Baker wants is his marriage back. Can this has-been former pro biker and agent make a partnership work? The film hits theaters March 24.
