Hey guys, Jana here,
It looks like ‘Escape Plan 2‘ is officially a go and Sylvester Stallone will be back on screen as Ray Breslin, the man who wrote the book on structural security. In the first film from 2013, he found himself set up and incarcerated in the world’s most secret and secure prison, he has to use his skills to escape with help from the inside. The sequel will not see Stallone alone though, Dave Bautista is on deck to join Sly this time around.
There are no details for the storyline or other co-stars at this time. Steven C. Miller (‘Marauders‘) will be directing the project with screenwriter Miles Chapman (‘Escape Plan‘) back again penning the script and there’s a projected start date of this spring, with an eye towards a 2018 big screen release.
