Here is a new trailer for ‘Free State of Jones‘, starring Matthew McConaughey in a Civil War film that is based on a true story. McConaughey is an Anti-Confederacy Southern farmer who is married to a former slave, who all team up to launch an uprising in Jones County, Mississippi and secede from the South.
Alright, alright, alright, alright, that sounds like fun. This film comes out on may 13th, just in time for summer and is directed by Gary Ross who directed ‘Seabiscuit‘, ‘Pleasantville‘, and ‘Hunger Games‘. Perhaps this might be a great great great grandfather to McConaughey’s character in ‘A Time To Kill‘ or even ‘Dazed and Confused‘. There are similarities. Enjoy the trailer.
