If you are in the mood for a trip to the desert coupled with some of the greatest musicians that have ever walked the earth, you have about 5 days to wait to order tickets to the “concert of the century” for Desert Trip Fest in Indio. This is a 3-day festival that brings some of the greatest names in rock and roll together for the first time.

Dubbed by some “Oldchella“, this 3 day event will have some of the hottest names in classic rock including The Rolling Stones and Paul McCartney! If anyone could drag me into the desert, it’s Macca. The Empire Polo Club in Indio has played host to Coachella and Stagecoach music festivals and now there is a classic rock offering that should, like the other two festivals, bring the fans out in droves. October 7, 8 & 9 will be the weekend that these amazing acts will be showing everyone exactly how it’s done.

On Friday Night, The Rolling Stones and Bob Dylan will shake the crowd up. Saturday night will feature Sir Paul McCartney and Neil Young to keep the fans going, and Sunday night Pink Floyd co-founder Roger Waters and The Who will blow the fans away until – hopefully – next year?

Any way you look at it, this is going to be a weekend of stellar musicians, fans ready to see a glorious showcase proving, once and for all, that classic rock will never get old.
