Abigail Breslin (Little Miss Sunshine/Zombieland) will star in Vincenzo Natali’s (Splice) new horror film, ‘Haunter’.  The film is a supernatural horror mystery that follows Lisa (Breslin), a teenage girl who died under evil circumstances in 1986 along with her family. Trapped in their house together and unable to move on, Lisa must reach out from beyond the grave to help the new family and her present day counterpart avoid the same fate she suffered.

So this is kind of a ghost story but told from the point of the ghost.  I like that aspect.  Shooting is to begin this summer in Toronto according to Variety.  And I really enjoyed Natali’s ‘Splice’.  It was fun, inventive, and really creepy.  I’m curious to see what he’ll do with a ghost story.  And I think Breslin was amazing in ‘Zombieland’ so she is no slouch when it comes to horror.  I’ve got my eye out for this one and I can’t wait to see who else is cast in the film.
