Former husky model, real-life Comic Book Guy, genre-bending screenwriter, nude filmmaker, hairy podcaster, pro-wrestling idiot-savant, who has a penchant for solving Rubik's Cubes and rolling candy cigarettes on unreleased bootlegs of Frank Zappa records.
This looks really interesting…I’ll never be able to consciously separate myself from comparing this to the John Wayne classic, but this seems to be a unique take on it. I loved the use of the Johnny Cash song in the trailer.
When movies are remade it is very hard to let go of the original. Most times, the original is the better version, but very rarely, does the remake stand out and becomes the definitive version. It sure will be interesting to see this classic told through the Coen’s eyes. I am looking forward to it.
