That’s right. We are getting a live-action ‘Beauty and the Beast‘ film from Disney with an all-star cast that includes, Emma Watson, Dan Stevens, Luke Evans, Kevin Kline, Josh Gad, Ewan McGregor, Stanley Tucci, Gugu Mbatha-Raw, Audra McDonald, Ian McKellen and Emma Thompson. Bill Condon (Twilight: Breaking Dawn) is directing and Tim Rice is still doing the score, which is awesome.
This new trailer looks quite good, although there isn’t too much to see just yet. I just hope it sticks with the original themes from the amazing animated film. I hear Disney is keeping the same score and songs, with some updated new tunes as well. The film will release March 17th, 2017 as of now, which is cool, because that’s usually a time where bad films hit theaters, leaving this one to make a good bit of money and some good critical praise, if it does indeed hold up.
