We’ve waited long enough for news of ‘Gilmore Girls: A Year in the Life‘ and we’re being rewarded for our patience. We now know when we can expect the new episodes of one of our favorite series and it’s something to make Black Friday a little less chaotic. Why fight through crowds for a discount when you can stay in your house, in your comfiest PJ’s, surround yourself with Thanksgiving leftovers and catch up with the Gilmore’s on Netflix? I literally just described my very plan for November 25.

All four 90-minute chapters of their seasonally themed continuation will be released at one time, proving Christmas can come early. If that doesn’t blow your mind enough, I have more – a teaser featuring Lorelai and Rory with their signature snark and wit!!

Each episode covers one season and we’ve got most of the old gang back together. Obviously Lauren Graham and Alexis Bledel, along with Melissa McCarthy, Scott Patterson, Kelly Bishop, Yanic Truesdale, Milo Ventimiglia, Jared Padalecki, Matt Czuchry, Liza Weil and Sean Gunn among so many others.

This should feel just like old times since creator Amy Sherman-Palladino wrote and directed all four episodes with her partner Daniel Palladino. I can’t wait for Thanksgiving!!!
