Hi everyone, Bryan Here…

There’s a new film called ‘Jackpot‘ that has signed on Bryan Cranston (Breaking Bad), Armie Hammer (The Social Network), and Mila Kunis (Forgetting Sarah Marshall) to star. I even hear that Jennifer Garner is about to sign on to the cast as well. ‘Jackpot‘ is of course a remake from a 2011 Norwegian action-comedy film about a guy who wakes up in a strip club with a gun in his hand and surrounded by a bunch of dead people. Oh yeah, and the police have their guns drawn on him when he wakes up.

The films starts from there, which sounds like a lot of fun. I now need to seek out this Norwegian film. The script is being penned by Dave Calahan (The Expendables) and is being directed by Will Gluck (Easy A), according to Deadline.

Production of the film is set to start this summer and should add a few more cast members before then. I’m pretty excited about this one, judging by the story alone and of course the amazing cast. All of this news came from the Cannes Film Festival. Let’s hope this is a good mix of comedy and action, because we need one of those films out right now, sans superheroes.
