Reese Witherspoon’s latest ‘Hot Pursuit‘ was part action and part crime, but mostly comedy at it’s heart. The southern blonde’s next movie is taking a completely opposite direction. ‘Cold‘ comes from writer Bill Marsilii and has been purchased by Lionsgate.

The only thing we know about ‘Cold‘ is that it’s an original dark thriller with supernatural elements. Teaming with Lionsgate is Witherspoon’s Pacific Standard Films banner where she will produce with business partner Bruna Papandrea. The same duo of Witherspoon and Papandrea are behind Disney’s ‘Tink‘ with Witherspoon starring as the fairy.
