He’s back, he’s bad and he’ll kill Christmas or he will get drunk and wake up in time for New Year’s – Willie Soke and ‘Bad Santa 2‘!
Miramax and Broad Green Pictures have given us the notice that not only is Willie back, but Billy Bob Thornton is back to play him. The two companies will work together to finance and produce the sequel that’s been highly anticipated for 12 years and now principal photography is set to kick off in January of 2016.
“We’ve been waiting far too long to see Billy Bob’s Willie Soke mess with the holiday season in his own unique way,” said Zanne Devine of Miramax. Thornton was latest seen in the TV series ‘Fargo‘ and has recently completed ‘Trial‘, ‘London Fields‘ and ‘Fun House‘.
