More Blumhouse Productions news today, this time it’s coming in the form of a game show. GSN has given the go sign for a horror-themed game show called Hellevator and have ordered eight episodes. The show will be produced through a combined effort by Matador and Blumhouse Prods in association with Lionsgate TV. Executive producers are Jason Blum, Jay Peterson and Todd Lubin.

The setup for the game is this, three friends ride a haunted elevator into various levels of an abandoned warehouse. One member of the team must get out on each floor and complete a frightening challenge in order to earn money for the team which can amount up to $50,000 if all tasks are completed, if a player doesn’t make it back on time, the elevator moves on without them.  Featured in each episode will be the “Twisted Twins“, Jen and Sylvia Soska.
